MARLON, 12, was unable to evacuate because his family
didn’t have a car. After days without food or water his family
was rescued by helicopter and brought to the Superdome.
Now in Houston, Marlon comments how much better the
schools are there: “In New Orleans they taught you things
you already knew. In Houston they teach you things to
prepare you for high school and college.”
